Webnote is a tool for taking notes on your computer. It allows
you to quickly write something down during a meeting, class, or
any other time that you have a web browser
available.
You start by creating a workspace and creating notes in the
workspace. You can save your workspace at any time and return
to them from the same computer or any other computer. You can
also share your notes with others by providing the workspace
name (or url) to a friend.
unicode bug -

There’s a known bug with how Safari encodes notes when saving. If the text on your notes is in ASCII (most English characters), then there are no problems. However, if you’re notes contains non-English characters, Safari encodes them in an unreadable format for Firefox/IE users. I’m working on a fix, but it’s complicated because I want to maintain compatibility with existing notes.
Update: This should now be fixed. Notify me if you have any problems.

How can I download this very interesting tool?

Trackback by A New Adventure - January 21, 2005 @ 7:26 amI don’t think this is related to this “bug” but did someone else encounter the problem that saving the RSS as Firefox link (that would be a livefeed or something) doesn’t work? I mean saving does work but when Firefox wants to get the RSS it says that it couldn’t load it.
